They used to think that we had to cryopreserve bodies or brains within a couple hours of death at the latest. However new research shows this can be done upto 48 hours later and still possibly retrieve memories. Some advanced nanotechnology would be needed, which could be about 25-100 years away. But this wouldn't matter because being frozen at these temperature the body would practically stop decayng from that moment and doesn't matter how long it takes.





Alcor have tried contacting the family of Michael, I know some friends who have also tried but they have not responded. Michael did wish to live forever, and to be cryopreserved. however this does not seem to be happening, and if this has not been done already, within %26gt;hours%26lt; it's probably all but too late.





People objections to cryonics are very silly. Cryonics could possibly work, and it beats decaying and rotting in the ground. At least if cryonics gives you a 1 % chance of coming abck, its inefinitely better than 0%.





Michael needs to be rapidly cooled and suspended within HOURS from now. Unfortunately many people with religious beliefs objects to this. And I would think michael family might also object. HOwever this was Michaels wish.

No he's dead. After his autopsy, his family will bury him or cremate him, whichever they prefer or were requested to do.
